Nestled in the oak studded Santa Ynez Valley, in Santa Barbara County, you will find the Danish village of Solvang.

The town was established in 1911 by a group of Danish educators and clergy. Visitors delight in the traditional Danish architecture, windmills, shops, museums, horse drawn streetcars and bakeries.

Solvang celebrates its live outdoor "Theaterfest" season from June to October.
