Everyone knows about the great beaches. Outdoor fun just doesn't get much better than in St. Petersburg. Resting at the southern tip of a peninsula, St. Petersburg is surrounded by beaches and water. To the west lies the Gulf of Mexico. To the east is Tampa Bay.
