The tranquil residential areas of Tarpon Springs, balancing historic mansions and newer subdivisions, frame saltwater inlets and other waterways. There is plenty to see and do, from the world-famous Sponge Docks to antique shops in the historic downtown area to shooting a championship golf courses.

The community's Mediterranean heritage is evident at the Feast of Epiphany each Jan. 6. The largest such celebration in the United States, the feast attracts people from all over the country.
