Play it again, Sam.
Of all the places in all the world, Key Largo was selected to showcase Humphrey Bogart's film legacy. The largest and northernmost of Florida's Keys, it is an appealing place to drop anchor and fish, dive, boat and/or snorkel. Key Largo also boasts a legitimate connection to Bogie. Scenes from his film Key Largo (1948) were filmed here, and the boat used in The African Queen (1942) is docked at the Holiday Inn. Despite the legacy that ties him to Key Largo, Humphrey Bogart never set foot here.
