You've heard stats on ski mountains before, but get a load of this. Heavenly has 29 lifts, 84 runs, 4,800 acres of terrain, 3,500 feet of vertical and 360 inches of annual snowfall. All of this, and it's just a few minutes from the casinos and excitement of South Lake Tahoe.

Heavenly offers snowboarding on 100 percent of the mountain. There's a snowboard park, a snowboard-cross course and a half-pipe. Several terrain features are also built regularly on the mountain, including spines, rolls and flat tops.
