The largest island of the West Indies group, Cuba lies 90 miles south of Key West, Fla., at the entrance to the Gulf of Mexico. The south coast is washed by the Caribbean Sea, the north coast by the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.
Since the early 1990s, Cuba has worked to upgrade its facilities. Throughout Cuba luxury hotels and beach resorts are going up and historical buildings are being renovated.
